Mosque of Shaikh M.R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen

Building Interfaith & Intercultural Bridges

Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), a Sufi saint from Sri Lanka, was a man of extraordinary wisdom and compassion. For over seventy years he shared his knowledge and experience with people of every race and religion and from all walks of life.

The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship was established as a reservoir of wisdom for all who are seeking God’s truth. It is a place where individuals gather to study the truth of God – outwardly through the teachings and example of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.) and inwardly through listening with greater clarity and determination, to that truth within oneself which exists as the conscience of man.

The Fellowship and its branches bring together as one family those people who strive to study, know and realize the meaning of their human birth: Who is man? What is the nature of human experience? What is the birthright of man-and what is his present state? What is man’s destiny? Who is God? What is the relationship between God and man?
